ATTENTION: We invite you to take note of the European Parliament's special conditions of access below in order to arrive calmly at the Opening Ceremony on 27 February at 8am.
• European Parliament
Esplanade Solidarnosc 1980, entrance Atrium - 1050 Brussels
You can only have access to the Opening Ceremony and the Plenary if you are registered online before 18 February. If you are not registered you will not be able to enter.
As of 8 AM at the ATRIUM WELCOME POINT on the Solidarnosc 1980 esplanade located 100 meters to the left of Place Simone Veil, badges will be distributed on presentation of your identity card. You will be subject to security control. Please don’t bring luggage for security reason.
NOTE : If you have permanent accreditation to the European parliament, please enter through the main entrance without going through the Atrium.
PROGRAMME at the European parliament :
• 8 AM - 9:45 AM: distribution of badges
• 10 AM - 1 PM: Opening Ceremony
• 1 PM- 2:15 PM: lunch break
You may leave the Parliament during the lunch break if you so wish (you will find many restaurants around Place du Luxembourg) but bearing in mind that you must keep your badge, and that you will be subject to security control in order to re-enter the premises.
• 3 PM - 5 PM: Plenary « Business and the death penalty » (Hemicycle)

Train: The Brussels-Luxembourg station provides a link to the European Parliament. The station is 2 minutes walk from the Atrium entrance (200m).
Bus: Lines 22, 27, 34, 38, 64, 64, 80 and 95 serve the European Parliament at the Luxembourg stop. Lines 12 and 21 connect Parliament directly to Brussels airport.
